The Yoshioka Lab examines cellular stress impacts on cardiac function, including oxidative stress, hypoxia/ischemia, and hyperglycemia. Under Dr. Yoshioka’s leadership, the lab characterizes molecular footprints and cardiovascular phenotypes using cellular and animal models of human heart diseases.
