The Martin Lab investigates repairing motor systems in the brain and spinal cord after spinal cord injury and stroke. Dr. Martin’s research uses neuromodulation techniques to activate neuronal growth programs that are critical for repair. Collaborating with neurologists, Dr. Martin and his team translate findings from animal models to optimize human applications.
